SENTINEL-M
Autonomous Unmanned CASEVAC
OVERVIEW
Sentinel-M is an unmanned mobility and CASEVAC platform designed to operate at the frontline where traditional vehicles cannot safely manoeuvre. Built on the Praesidium Sovereign Autonomy Platform, Sentinel-M combines casualty-extraction support, last-mile logistics, and battlefield situational awareness into a single adaptable system.
Engineered for contested environments, Sentinel-M allows operators to conduct reconnaissance, evacuate wounded personnel, or deliver critical equipment while maintaining a reduced risk profile. The platform enhances survivability, improves response time, and supports units operating under intense EW pressure or limited visibility.
Sentinel-M is currently being evaluated for deployment in active frontline conditions.
The Problem
In Ukraine, the danger of movement within the grey zone has made routine rotation between positions one of the most lethal moments for frontline soldiers. Units moving to and from the zero line face persistent threats from FPV drones, indirect fire and ambushes, resulting in significant casualties during what should be basic tactical movement.
When casualties occur at the zero line, extraction is often delayed far beyond survivability standards. There is no golden hour on this battlefield; wounded soldiers can wait 24, 48 or even 72 hours before evacuation becomes possible. These delays create preventable fatalities and leave frontline units exposed as they attempt to recover their injured under fire.
The first minutes after injury — the Platinum 10 — are critical. Yet without a safe, low-signature, frontline-capable mobility platform, units cannot reach their wounded quickly enough or without incurring additional casualties of their own. The absence of such a capability has created a consistent and catastrophic gap in survivability for Ukrainian forces.
The Solution
Sentinel-M is designed to give frontline units a safe, autonomous and low-visibility means of reaching casualties in the most dangerous parts of the battlespace. By operating autonomously or semi-autonomously, Sentinel-M can move into areas too risky for manned vehicles, providing immediate mobility support and reducing the exposure of soldiers tasked with casualty extraction.
The platform enables rapid retrieval within the Platinum 10 and supports movement during periods when traditional CASEVAC vehicles cannot operate. Sentinel-M can navigate forward positions, assist in casualty movement and return to friendly lines without demanding constant operator control, even under EW pressure or direct threat.
By reducing the need for soldiers to physically enter the kill zone to recover their wounded, Sentinel-M directly decreases risk, increases survivability and provides a critical capability that Ukraine’s frontline forces currently lack. It transforms casualty extraction from a high-risk manual task into a safer, autonomous support action aligned with the realities of modern warfare.
Core Capabilities
Sentinel-M is powered by the Praesidium Sovereign Autonomy Stack, combining sensor fusion, electric propulsion, visual odometry and terrain-aware navigation into a single, integrated system. Its behaviours and mission workflows are built on established military SOPs, ensuring predictable, doctrine-aligned performance in frontline conditions.
The platform autonomously interprets its environment, maintains situational awareness and executes mobility, ISR and casualty-support tasks with minimal operator involvement.
This enables Sentinel-M to function as a reliable, low-signature support asset in areas where manned movement is too dangerous or operationally constrained.
CASEVAC Support
Moves to casualty locations autonomously or under supervision, enabling safer extraction under fire.
Mobility & Resupply
Delivers essential equipment, ammunition, medical kits, or water to forward units.
Low-Signature Operation
Quiet, electric propulsion reduces detectability enabling operation in areas too dangerous for conventional manned vehicles.
Mission Roles
Autonomous Mobility
Using visual odometry, mapping and terrain analysis, the platform navigates through complex, cluttered or contested areas with minimal operator oversight.
Doctrine- Behaviour
Sentinel-M executes mobility and support tasks based on established military SOPs, ensuring predictable and tactically appropriate behaviour in frontline environments.
Battlefield Awareness
Onboard sensors and autonomy systems allow Sentinel-M to provide reconnaissance, overwatch and mapping while simultaneously supporting mobility or casualty tasks.
